NEW COLLECTION- CERAMICA
After a very busy start to 2022, with moving to a new home, I’m very pleased to share my first art collection release of the year!
This small collection was inspired by the mastery and artistry of Spanish ceramica. What seems like a lifetime ago, I got to study abroad in Seville and happened to live in the ceramics district called Triana. This series of paintings is my small ode to the beauty and culture I experienced there.
The collection consists of five contemporary mixed media paintings on hand torn, 100% French cotton paper. Each piece measures approximately 8x8”, signed and framed in an 11x14'“ modern acrylic float frame with gold hardware. The body of the vases are monochromatic with the background, only differing by slight variations of warm and cool tones. These primarily neutral pieces are brought to life by bold blue marks.
