This series of beach seascapes is inspired by a serene and refreshing day at the coast. The original paintings focus on soft white sand, gentle blue waves, and comfortable beach chairs shaded under an idyllic umbrella.

I wanted this series to be an artistic exercise in a limited color palette. I utilized a vibrant orange underpainting that subtly peeks through the complementary blue scenes. I used only a few pigments carefully mixed to create a duochromatic look of soft blues and tans. The seascapes have a loose artistic feel with large brush stokes, impressionistic sweeps of color, and thick texture.

Each coastal inspired piece is painted using acrylic, with modeling paste for thick texture on cotton canvas, sealed with a glossy varnish and framed, ready to hang. Measures approximately 15x15 with frame.
